Running low on reserves

The past few days have been incredible but also very tiring. From staying up far too late because of how awesome the new season of The Witcher is to staying up late last night for a 4th of July party (our toddler and the other kids had a dance bounce party on a friends’ trampoline until almost 22:00 last night), I can feel myself running low on my energy reserves. Not helping at all is the fact that on top of not getting enough sleep I’ve also been hitting my morning workouts and rucking regularly. As I close in on 40 orbits around our little star, I can feel myself more and more realizing the importance of sleep.

Sleep is such a vital component of a healthy life, and yet it’s so easy for us to fail to find the time to simply rest our bodies as needed.

I think I have an afternoon nap ahead of me today.
