logo design and redesign

The logo designs for Blue Marble Space and the Blue Marble Space Institute of Science (BMSIS) have evolved over the years.

The iconic and well known structure was developed in 2013 by a graphic designer. However, to keep up with the modern era in graphic design, I took the “marble” icons and transitioned them to flat and far simpler designs that are easily recognizable across devices and platforms and scalable for both high and low resolution formats.

design and layout of documents

Using the Affinity suite of design tools (Developer, Photo, and Publisher), I can layout documents from pamphlets and one-pagers to white paper, manuscripts, full-length books, and more.

In 2020, I customized the layout and design of a white paper on behalf of the Center for Life Detection to be submitted to the NASEM Decadal Survey in Planetary Science and Astrobiology 2023-2032. You can read that white paper in its entirety here.
